Terms and conditions

Last updated: 5 May 2026.

These terms cover how Campare works and what you agree to when you use it. By using campare.uk, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Plain-English summary: Campare is a directory of UK holiday camps. We index listings from provider websites; we don't run any of the camps and we don't take bookings. Always check the camp's own website for the current details and book directly with the provider.

Directory posture

Campare is a directory. We collect listings of UK school-holiday day camps from public sources — mostly provider websites — and group them by location, age and activity. We are not the camp operator. We don't run, staff, supervise, schedule, price, refund, insure or take bookings for any camp listed here.

Each listing names its source and links back to the provider's own page. The provider's page is always the most current source.

Listings are not endorsements. Appearing on Campare doesn't mean we recommend a camp; it means our crawler found a publicly-listed camp page and indexed it.

No vetting

We don't check insurance, DBS status, Ofsted registration, staff-to-child ratios, qualifications, safeguarding policies or any other credential before listing a camp. Displaying those details would imply we'd verified them, and we haven't.

Before you book, please check those details directly with the camp provider. The provider is responsible for the safety, supervision and delivery of the camp; for the accuracy of their own listing; and for handling any complaint, refund or dispute that arises from a booking you make with them.

If a listing on Campare looks wrong — wrong dates, wrong age range, the camp no longer exists — please tell us via the takedown request page (the page also covers "fix this, don't remove it" requests, despite the name).

Takedown SLA

If you're a provider, copyright owner, or anyone else who wants a Campare listing removed, send us the URL via the takedown request page.

We process takedown requests in batches and aim to action them within five working days. Once a URL is taken down it's blacklisted from re-crawl, so the listing won't come back. The taken-down listing returns a "this listing is no longer available" page and is de-indexed by search engines on their next crawl.

Five working days is a target, not a guaranteed turnaround. Complex requests — for example, a takedown that overlaps with a copyright claim we need to confirm — may take longer. We will email you to confirm what we've done.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales. Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are not affected.

Using Campare

When you use Campare, you agree to:

  • use the site for personal, non-commercial searching for camps;
  • check camp details directly with the provider before you book;
  • not scrape or crawl Campare in a way that places undue load on the site;
  • not misrepresent yourself when sending a takedown request.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in the law or in how Campare works. The "last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when the current version was published. Continued use of Campare after a change means you accept the updated terms.
