PQA Hertford

PQA Hertford was established in 2011 and has been based at Robert Barclay Academy in Hoddesdon since 2016. Across four academies operating from this venue, we run performing arts classes on a Friday evening, two Saturday morning sessions and a Saturday afternoon academy. Principal Susie and her dedicated team of teachers and assistants, who all have performing arts and filmmaking backgrounds, have created a fun, professional, creative environment that lives up to the PQA ethos of “Be Yourself, Be Amazing”. Our academy has an energy like no other, and students often stay with us for a very long time! Whether it be walking the red carpet at one of our film screening events at a local cinema or performing in theatres locally and in the West End at His Majesty’s Theatre, we have something for every young person that has a passion or curiosity for all things performing arts. So, if your child is a singer/dancer, a budding thespian or aiming to be the next Steven Speilberg, we have dedicated modules to nurture and develop their talent. Our modules are designed to encourage confidence, team spirit, performance, and filmmaking skills, all with a generous helping of creativity, passion, dedication, and fun. play_circle_filled
