Dodgeball Holiday Camp — The Bellbird Primary School

Link Road, Sawston, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB22 3GB · 4.2 mi away

    Ages 4–12Sport

Dodgeball is one of the most popular courses we offer and is guaranteed to be great fun for every player! Dodgeball is exciting, fast paced and easy to learn, with loads of great variations to enjoy. It’s a sport that many children haven’t had the chance to experience, and that’s why Premier Education are so proud to offer it. If you’ve never tried it before, now’s the perfect time to start. If you’re already a fan, this is a great place to hone your skills. Our coaches are trained to adapt the sessions based on those attending to make sure it’s fun, engaging and safe for everyone. Premier Education’s dodgeball sessions feature a wide variety of themes and games to explore the sport. Each child will need to throw, catch, dodge and jump their way through a range of mini-games and drills. Our coaches will make sure that every child will improve their speed, strength and agility, no matter what skills they arrive with. One of the reasons we love dodgeball so much is that it’s a truly team-based game. Any coach will be able to tell you that co-operation is just as important as co-ordination for this high-speed game – meaning it’s the perfect way to make new friends.

Gymnastics Holiday Camp — Milton Road Primary School

Ascham Road, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB4 2BD · 2.8 mi away

    Ages 4–12Sport

We’ve partnered up with British Gymnastics to become their only nationwide primary school delivery partner. Our sessions can be held in any sports hall – our highly trained coaches don’t even need any fancy equipment to deliver fun, active and safe sessions. It’s easy to understand why there’s so much interest in gymnastics. As a ‘foundation sport’, gymnastics uses strength, stability, flexibility, coordination and balance and has been shown to improve attention span. It’s all about teaching children the fundamental movement skills they need to lead a physically active and healthy life, full of sport and recreation. Its positive impact, physically and psychologically, is life-long, which is why it’s particularly appealing for head teachers to offer.
